I think "consciousness", is just an advanced form of information processes, and the whole universe is just that...but when the processing mechanism is complex enough to create a "brain", it become self aware; universe becomes aware of itself; simulation simulates itself; "God" fapping to and dreaming of itself. ~

So "consciousness" is a spectrum, and everything is made up of IT because everything is information. The difference between "this" and "that", "me" and "you" are merely the difference between the (re)configuration of information manifested as sensations dancing on "consciousness" as itself...but when this proceeds filtered through the different modules of the "brain" as"sight", "sound", "thought", "body", "chair", "dildos" and etc.
You can only make the distinctions between these things at the macro level where sensations are more solidified, but at the "quantum" and micro level everything is empty space vibrating into form and back again as information exchanging and reincarnating itself moment to moment.
