By the same token, Awareness is by its very own definition aware of itself. The question of why that is is absurd because what does awareness “do” or is aware of prior to the awareness of anything else? To be aware of itself DUH! But it’s also aware of a whole lot more but whatever it is aware of are just more modifications of itself, so there’s never been anything in your direct experience that’s not awareness being aware of itself, by self, as itself directly without filter.
